Our Story

The Conceria Bertini Franco was set up in 1972 by his founder Franco Bertini that put all his knowledge and 10 year experience into this project , the company was initially specialized in the production of suine leather but soon following the market request it specialized itself in the production of Halfcalf.

The Bertini Family has always been in touch with the customers needs creating a various but at the same time very specialized range of products

In the the last few years the company has constantly updates its machinery and in 2007 the new headquarter have been inaugurated . The new structure is much more efficient thanks to new machinery and a much better working place that project the company directly in the future.

Respect for the environment

Due To the constant attention to the eviromental problems in 2011 the Company decided to build a new sophisticated photovoltaic . This system thanks to Solar Panel guarantees the 60% of the energy requirements.

All the chemicals used are in compliance with the Reach and all our products are in compliance with the latest European Law on leather like the Regulation (EU) n.605/2014 in place since the 1st April 2015 on formaldeid and Chromium IV.

According to customers request is possible to make internal Test in related laboratories.
